If you haven't been to Letchworth State Park I strongly recommend you to, it's the Grand Canyon of the east coast, absolutely beautiful. A must see.

so this is not the way we took. we decided to drive thru Arkansas instead of Oklahoma and we drove thru this forest Ozark I think it was, and can I just say it was probably the scariest part of the whole trip. It was Texas Chainsaw Massacre all over again. Creepy old dudes in creepy trucks... following you on this road with absolutely no where to go, or turn around. Pretty much if you run out of gas, you're SOL. Forget Arkansas. Place is freaky AF.

San Juan Nation Forest near our Cabin, pictures don't do it justice- but here they are:
the road is not paved. there is also no cellular reception. sounds like perfection; we randomly pulled over to take some pictures outside of the car...
Bogdan ran over to the end of the ledge thing, and calls me over... I run over threw a field of krapiva, once my feet started to hurt i realized that... for those of you who don't know what krapiva is, it's pretty much a very painful plant when you come in contact with it... anyways, once I managed to get to Bogdan this is what I saw:

more San Juan, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL
After spending most of the day cruising though San Juan, we decided to go back and explore on the ranch. Right after this hill is where we were driving past some cowboys in a truck with a horse trailer attached. They asked us if we were lost and we told them we're just scoping the place out. Heres the video. Sorry it's kinda crappy, I'm new to this.

Can you guess what we did next? 2 HOURS of hardcore walking in the mountains of Colorado.
Looking for these two horses. I was determined to find them. This is something I've always dreamed of doing as a little kid, and now it was the time. Bogdan was just as determined at I was, perhaps that's why he's my soulmate. After failing on finding the horses, the cowboys came and picked us up from the mountain on their truck. They had no luck either. As we were driving down, I noticed something in the distance..
.. yes way. Eagle eye.
Success.
What happened was, the white horse wasn't saddled and it was "misbehaving" and decided to run away. While he was tied to the brown horse. They both ran off :)
One of the cowboys asked jokingly "now who wants to ride it down the mountain?"

I had Clam Chowder at 23 in SF and it was DELICIOUS :P
Twin Peaks, SF, CA at night. It was extremely cold and windy outside and I was not prepared. I jumped out of the car and took this picture really fast. It just wasn't worth it for me at the time to try to take a decent picture of the view in the dark... But hey at least I got one, and it looks like millions of candy canes :)

Bogdan was driving the whole way from San Francisco to Orange County. I was sleeping when nightfall came and we were still driving on the coast on California, and Bogdan woke me up to this.

Tenth street, thousand steps.
You have to walk down a thousand steep steps to get to this beach. As we're walking down I'm thinking, Oh this is no big deal, and Bogdan just interrupts and says "the walk up is even funner"
Are you kidding? Walking up a thousand steps in the most miserable thing ever. And so painful. WOW. No wonder people in California are in shape.

I must say, taking a month and driving cross country was probably one of the most incredible vacations I have ever taken. If you've been wanting to do it for the longest time, just get up and do it. You won't regret it I'll tell you that much.
